Description

The C8121-G2-MX is a cloud-managed secure router from the Cisco Secure Router C8100 G2 range, running Meraki MX OS. It is built for small to medium branch deployments of up to 200 devices where remote administration through the Meraki Dashboard is a priority, with PoE available for access points, cameras, VoIP phones and cellular gateways.

Connectivity is two dedicated 2.5G RJ45 WAN ports, one of which provides 30W PoE+ to power a cellular gateway, plus ten 1GbE RJ45 LAN ports. Three of the LAN ports support UPoE (802.3bt, 45W) from a 135W LAN PoE budget, supplied by a 250W DC power supply. Stateful firewall throughput is 2 Gbps, with maximum VPN throughput and advanced security throughput both at 1200 Mbps. The desktop or wall mount chassis measures 34 x 176 x 316 mm.

Operation and Dashboard management require a Cisco Meraki MX licence. Compatible accessories include the MA-PWR-250WAC-ADP replacement power adapter, regional MA-PWR-CORD AC power cords and the MA-WMNTBR-PWR-ADP power adapter holder for wall mounting.
