Description

The Juniper QFX5120-48Y is a fixed-configuration data centre switch in the QFX5120 family, built for top-of-rack and leaf roles where servers connect at 25GbE and uplink at 100GbE. It supports Layer 2 and Layer 3 operation in modern data centre fabrics.

This SKU provides 48 x 25GbE SFP28 ports and 8 x 100GbE QSFP28 ports. The QFX5120-48Y-D-AFO2 variant is DC powered with redundant DC power supplies and redundant fans, and uses airflow out (AFO) cooling. Match the airflow direction to your rack's hot and cold aisle layout when ordering. The switch ships with base software features, and advanced feature licences are sold separately.

The 48 downlink ports accept SFP28, SFP+ and SFP optics, and the 8 uplink ports accept QSFP28 and QSFP+ optics, so you can mix speeds as your server and spine connectivity requires.
