Description

The Cisco Hyperfabric 6000 series HF6100-32D is a 1RU data centre fabric switch built for high-density 400G leaf, spine, mesh and border roles. It is managed as a service through the Cisco Nexus Hyperfabric Cloud Controller, with zero-touch provisioning and BGP EVPN/VXLAN support, and suits AI/ML back-end fabrics and Top-of-Rack deployments.

The chassis provides 32 QSFP-DD ports running 40G, 100G, 200G or 400G with 56Gb SerDes, with breakout support, on the Cisco Silicon One Q200 ASIC. Switching capacity reaches 12.8 Tbps with an 8 Bpps forwarding rate. Scale figures include up to 256,000 MAC addresses and up to 1,000,000 IPv4 and IPv6 indirect routes, backed by 16 GB DDR4 RAM and 32 GB flash.

This SKU is the chassis with 32x400G QSFP-DD ports. It has two hot-swap power supply slots in a 1+1 arrangement and six fan slots with 5+1 redundant cooling. Management requires an active Cisco Nexus Hyperfabric subscription, and the switch keeps running its last-known configuration if the controller is unreachable.
