Description

The Nexus 9300 N9364E-SP2R-O is a 3RU data centre switch built on the Cisco Silicon One P200 ASIC. It is aimed at high-density spine layers, AI/ML clusters and scale-across data centre interconnect, and can run as a spine or leaf in NX-OS VXLAN EVPN fabrics or as an ACI spine managed by APIC.

This OSFP variant provides 64 x 800G OSFP ports with up to 102.4 Tbps of bandwidth and 19.2 bpps forwarding. Ports also run at 400G, 200G and 100G, with breakout options down to 4x10G, which supports a staged migration from 10/25/50G to 100/400/800G. The ASIC has a 144 MB on-die shared buffer plus 16 GB of HBM, and the system carries 64 GB of DDR5 memory and a 240 GB SSD.

Power comes from four 3000W HVAC/HVDC supplies in 2+2 redundancy with seven fans in 6+1 redundancy and port-side intake airflow. Typical draw is 2500 W and maximum is 5100 W. Layer-2 security and management features are in the default software, while Layer-3 IP unicast and multicast routing needs Cisco DCN Essentials, Advantage or Premier subscription licensing.

Supported OSFP optics are listed in the Cisco TMG Compatibility Matrix. Spare and accessory part numbers include PSU3KW-HVPI, FAN-PI-V4, FAN-1RU-PI-V2 and NXK-ACC-KIT2-2RU.
