Description

The EX4550 is a 1U Layer 2/Layer 3 Ethernet switch with 32 fixed 100M/1G/10GBASE-T ports (non-PoE) and a 650W DC power supply. This variant uses AFO airflow, moving air from the port side to the PSU side, which suits data centre top-of-rack and campus or service provider aggregation deployments. Two expansion slots accept optional modules to extend the switch to up to 48 ports and add 10GbE SFP+, 40GbE QSFP+ or Virtual Chassis connectivity. It runs Junos OS and supports Virtual Chassis operation with other EX4200, EX4500 and EX4550 switches.
