Description

The Catalyst 9350 is a fixed, stackable access switch built around 24 x 1G SFP downlink ports. It runs Cisco IOS XE on a Silicon One A100/L ASIC and suits fibre-based access in campus distribution closets, branch offices, industrial environments and sites that need long-distance fibre or immunity to electromagnetic interference in a compact form factor.

This SKU is the 24 x 1G SFP model with no PoE, supplied with a 500W AC power supply (PWR-C2-500WAC). It has a modular uplink network module slot supporting up to 200G, a 448 Gbps bandwidth specification and a 333.312 Mpps forwarding rate. StackWise-1.6T stacking joins up to 8 members at 1.6 Tbps, lifting switching capacity to 2048 Gbps, and StackPower+ shares power across the stack. There are 3 power supply bays and 3 hot-swappable fan-tray bays with N+1 redundancy.

Uplink modules supported on this SKU are C9350-NM-2C, C9350-NM-8Y and C9350-NM-8M. It stacks with other C9350 models at the same licence level using STACK-T1A-50CM, 1M or 3M cables, and requires Cisco IOS XE Release 26.1.2 or later. It can be managed through Cisco Catalyst Center or the Meraki dashboard.

Q: Does this switch provide PoE?
A: No. The C9350-24S has 24 x 1G SFP ports and no PoE. It is powered by its 500W AC power supply, PWR-C2-500WAC, and the power supply does not feed connected devices.

Q: What licensing does the Catalyst 9350 use?
A: The Catalyst 9350 uses Cisco unified licensing, either the Cisco Networking Subscription or an Enterprise Agreement, managed through Cisco Smart Accounts and Smart Software Manager.

Q: Which uplink modules work with the C9350-24S?
A: The C9350-NM-2C, C9350-NM-8Y and C9350-NM-8M network modules are supported, giving uplinks of up to 200G.

Q: How do I stack it?
A: It stacks with other C9350 models at the same licence level over StackWise-1.6T using STACK-T1A-50CM, 1M or 3M cables, with up to 8 members. StackPower uses CAB-SPWR-35CM or 100CM cables. Catalyst 9300 stacking and StackPower cables are not compatible.
