Description

The EX4100-F-12P is a compact, fanless 1U access switch from the Juniper EX4100-F line, built for branch offices, remote offices and campus access layers. It runs Junos OS and can be onboarded and managed through Juniper Mist Wired Assurance. The PoE+ ports power IP phones, surveillance cameras, IoT devices and Wi-Fi 6 access points.

This 12-port, Standard software variant provides 12 x 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+ (802.3at) ports delivering up to 30 W per port, with a 180 W PoE budget. Uplinks are 2 x 100M/1/2.5/5/10GbE BASE-T ports plus 4 x 1/10GbE SFP+ ports that double as Virtual Chassis ports. Switching capacity is 72 Gbps unidirectional (144 Gbps bidirectional) at 107 Mpps, with 4 GB DRAM and 8 GB of storage. Cooling is natural convection with no fans, so it suits quiet spaces.

Power comes from an external 280 W AC adapter. Connecting external 90 W PSE devices to both multigig uplink ports raises the PoE capacity to 300 W. Up to 10 EX4100-F switches can be joined in a Virtual Chassis and managed as one device. The platform requires Junos OS 22.3R1 or later.
