Description

The Catalyst 9300-M 24-port Gigabit switch is a data-only access switch managed through the Meraki cloud dashboard, with no PoE on its 24 RJ45 ports. It supports modular uplinks, dual 120G stacking ports and ships with a 350W AC power supply, with hot-swap dual PSU support. Suited to campus and branch access layers where cloud-managed switching and physical stacking of up to 8 units are required.

Q: Does this switch provide PoE?
A: No. The C9300-24T-M is a data-only model with 24 x 1GbE RJ45 ports and no PoE or UPoE. PoE-capable variants of the Catalyst 9300-M family are available as separate SKUs.

Q: Are the uplinks fixed or modular?
A: The uplinks are modular. They use network modules that accept SFP+, SFP28 or QSFP+ optics, for example 4x10G or 2x40G configurations. The uplink module is selected separately.

Q: How is this switch managed?
A: It is cloud-managed through the Meraki Dashboard with zero-touch provisioning, and requires a Meraki Enterprise/Advanced licence (LIC-C9300-24E-xY) to operate.

Q: Can multiple units be stacked?
A: Yes. It has two 120G hardware stacking ports with 480 Gbps stacking bandwidth, supporting physical stacks of up to 8 switches. StackPower is also supported.
