The Cisco WS-C2960XR-48FPD-I is a stackable Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for enterprise campus and branch deployments. It features 48 PoE+ ports delivering up to 740W total PoE power for IP phones, wireless access points, and security cameras, along with two 10 Gigabit SFP+ uplinks for high-speed aggregation. Running IP Lite software, the switch supports basic Layer 3 routing including static routes, RIP, OSPF stub, EIGRP stub, and HSRP, making it ideal for cost-effective access layer convergence.
