Description

The Aironet 1530 is a compact outdoor 802.11n access point built for outdoor Wi-Fi and mesh deployments. This 1532E variant uses external antennas and is configured for the Z regulatory domain, making it suited to sites that need a dedicated outdoor wireless access point with the flexibility to choose the antenna that fits the coverage area.

The radios provide 2x2:2 MIMO on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Power can be supplied over 802.3at PoE+, Cisco UPoE or a 24 to 57 VDC input, which gives installers several options when planning an outdoor cable run. The external antenna design (1532E) and the Z regulatory domain are the points that separate this SKU from other models in the 1530 range.
