Description

The Aruba CX 6000 is an entry-level fixed 1U Layer 2 access switch running AOS-CX. It suits branch offices, midsize businesses and small enterprises that need wired access with power for access points, security cameras and IoT devices.

This model provides 48 10/100/1000BASE-T Class 4 PoE ports supporting IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at, up to 30W per port, within a 740W PoE budget. Four 1G SFP ports handle uplinks. Switching capacity is 176 Gbps with 98.6 Mpps throughput, and the MAC table holds 8,192 entries. A USB-C console port and a USB Type-A host port are fitted.

It works with the 1G SFP optics J4858D (SX, 500m on OM2 multimode), J4859D (LX, 10km on single-mode) and J8177E (RJ45, 100m on Cat5e). The J9583B 1U 4-post rack mount kit and the R9J32A and R9J33A USB console cables are available for installation and management.
