Description

The Meraki MS210-48FP is a Layer 2 cloud-managed stackable access switch for branch and small campus deployments. It suits access layers with heavy PoE demand, such as large numbers of IP phones, cameras and wireless access points, all managed centrally from the Meraki Dashboard.

It provides 48 x 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 PoE+ ports with a 740W PoE budget, plus 4 x 1GbE SFP uplinks. Two stacking ports deliver 80 Gbps of stacking bandwidth, and the switch offers 176 Gbps switching capacity. Static routing and DHCP relay are supported. Power is supplied by a fixed internal AC supply drawing 54W at idle and 882W at full load, with an optional RPS-2300 external redundant power system available.

This is the hardware SKU, so a Meraki Enterprise licence is required for the switch to operate and be managed in the Dashboard. It stacks physically with the MS210 and MS225 series at 80G, and the SFP uplinks take 1G SFP optics.

A: Yes. The -HW SKU is hardware only, and a Meraki Enterprise licence is required for the switch to operate and be managed in the Dashboard. The licence is purchased separately, for example LIC-MS210-48FP-xYR.
