Description

The Jetson Orin Nano 8GB is a compact system-on-module from NVIDIA's Jetson Orin family, built for edge AI, robotics, drones, intelligent video analytics, smart cameras and embedded vision products.

It pairs an NVIDIA Ampere architecture GPU with 1024 CUDA cores and 32 Tensor Cores with a 6-core Arm Cortex-A78AE v8.2 64-bit CPU. The 8GB of 128-bit LPDDR5 memory delivers 68 GB/s of bandwidth, and the module provides up to 40 TOPS of sparse INT8 AI performance. Power is configurable from 7W to 15W, with a 25W mode available on newer JetPack releases. This 8GB, 40 TOPS variant needs no subscription, as it is supported by the free NVIDIA JetPack SDK.

The module uses a 260-pin SO-DIMM connector in a 69.6 x 45 mm form factor, which is mechanically compatible with Jetson Orin NX modules. It works with Jetson Orin Nano and Orin NX carrier boards and the JetPack 5.x and 6.x SDK, and a carrier board is required to supply power and I/O.
