Description

This 2400W Titanium-rated AC power supply is built for the Cisco UCS XE9305 chassis in the Cisco Unified Edge range. It suits distributed edge sites such as retail, branch and remote locations running virtualised, containerised or AI workloads on compute, storage, networking and security nodes.

Each PSU delivers up to 2400W at 200-240 VAC, derating to 1300W at 100-127 VAC, with a 12V output and a maximum input of 2700 VA at 230 VAC. Input frequency is 47 to 63 Hz and the inlet is an IEC60320 C20 connector. The chassis has two power supply bays and is configured with two PSUs for N+N grid redundancy. The units are hot-swappable and removable from the front with a latching mechanism, with no special tools required.

This is the AC variant. DC feeds use the separate UCSXE-PSU-2400WDC. The power supply itself needs no licence, and the chassis is managed through Cisco Intersight. Power requirements can be sized with the Cisco UCS Power Calculator.

A: No. The power supply itself needs no licence. The chassis is managed through Cisco Intersight, and Intersight Server licences apply only to the compute nodes.
