Description

The Juniper MX960 is a 14-slot modular router chassis from the MX Series Universal Routing Platform family. This AC-powered base configuration includes a midplane, two Switch Control Boards (SCBE) and an enhanced cable manager, giving a redundant switch fabric foundation for service provider and large enterprise edge and core deployments. It provides slots for line cards or MPCs and Routing Engines, so capacity and interfaces can be built out to suit the network.
