The Juniper MX204-R is a fixed-configuration 1U Ethernet edge router delivering 400 Gbps of system capacity on Junos OS. This SKU is supplied as the MX204 chassis with 3 fan trays and 2 power supplies, licensed for the R mode tier with full-scale Layer 2, Layer 2.5 and Layer 3 routing. It suits service provider edge, metro Ethernet and data centre interconnect deployments that need high port density, redundant power and cooling in a compact footprint.
