Description

The MX204-IR is a compact 1 U, 400 Gbps edge router running Junos OS on the programmable Trio chipset. This chassis bundle includes three fan trays, two power supplies and the IR mode licence tier, which supports up to 32 Layer 3 VRF instances, 2 million FIB routes and 6 million RIB routes. With 8 x 10GbE SFP+ ports and 4 x 100GbE QSFP28 rate-selectable ports, it suits service provider, enterprise and data centre edge deployments where high port density and a small footprint are required.
