Description

The MX10-T-AC is the AC-powered chassis of the Juniper MX10 universal routing platform, a compact 2RU edge router for enterprise and service provider sites where rack space and power are limited. It suits aggregation, edge routing and managed services deployments.

This AC chassis with timing support delivers 40 Gbps of switching capacity and provides two front MIC slots plus a rear slot for an MS-MIC services card. It is supplied with dual redundant AC power supplies accepting 100-240 VAC, and a MIC-3D-20GE-SFP (20 x 1GbE SFP) with one empty MIC slot. Separately purchased upgrade licences enable use of up to four 10GbE interfaces, and a software upgrade can take the platform to MX40 or MX80 capacity. Junos OS is included along with the S-MX80-ADV-R, S-MX80-Q and S-ACCT-JFLOW-IN-5G licences.

The MX10 uses MX Series MICs and takes the MS-MIC in the rear slot for services. A DC-powered variant, the MX10-T-DC, is also available for sites running DC power.
