Description

The ACX7100-32C is a 1U fixed-configuration Cloud Metro router from the ACX7000 family, built for the IP service fabric of high-end multiservice metro and aggregation networks. It also suits 5G transport and edge deployments where port density and power efficiency matter in a compact, roughly 60 cm deep chassis.

This chassis provides 32 multi-rate 100GbE QSFP28 / QSFP-DD ports and 4 x 400GbE QSFP56-DD ports, backed by 4.8 Tbps of ASIC throughput. Breakout support lets the ports run at lower speeds, up to 96 x 50GbE, 80 x 25GbE or 80 x 10GbE. It has no PoE. The -L suffix means this SKU carries the Limited Junos OS Evolved licence tier, which separates it from the non-L JNP7100-32C-CHAS. Six fans provide front-to-back cooling.

The ports accept QSFP28 and QSFP-DD / QSFP56-DD optics and DACs, with breakout to 4x25G, 4x10G or 2x50G.
