Description

The HPE FlexNetwork MSR3064 is a modular branch router from the MSR3000 series, built for medium to large branch offices that need routing, switching, security and SIP voice services in a single chassis.

This JG404A chassis is a 3U half-depth unit with one fixed 10/100/1000M RJ45 port and two combo 1000M RJ45/SFP ports. Expansion is handled by four SIC module slots or two DSIC module slots, which can be populated with WAN, voice and other service modules. Forwarding performance is rated at up to 5 Mpps. The chassis has two power supply slots for dual PSU operation, and the power supplies are ordered separately.

The combo ports accept SFP transceivers, so the router can connect over copper or fibre depending on the site. The MSR3064 supports IPv4 and IPv6 ping and traceroute, and PIM multicast in DM, SM and SSM modes.
