The Cisco WS-C3850-24T-S is an enterprise-class stackable Layer 3 switch featuring 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports with IP Base licensing. Built on Cisco's Unified Access Data Plane (UADP) ASIC, this switch delivers 92 Gbps switching capacity and supports up to 9 units in a StackWise-480 stack with 480 Gbps stack bandwidth. Ideal for converged wired-wireless campus deployments, it includes a modular uplink slot supporting optional 1G or 10G SFP network modules and built-in wireless controller functionality for managing up to 100 access points.

IP Services adds full enterprise routing features including full OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, PIM, and IPv6 routing (OSPFv3, EIGRPv6). The license can be upgraded via RTU (right-to-use) software activation.
