Description

The UCSX-CPU-I6748P is an Intel Xeon 6748P server processor for Cisco UCS X-Series M8 compute nodes. Built on the Granite Rapids P-core architecture, it suits mission-critical enterprise applications, memory-intensive workloads, and bare-metal or virtualised environments on the UCS X-Series Modular System managed through Cisco Intersight.

This variant has 48 cores and 96 threads at a 2.5 GHz base clock, boosting up to 4.1 GHz, with 192 MB of cache and a 300 W TDP. Memory support is DDR5 up to 6400 MT/s across 8 channels per processor, and PCIe 5.0 provides 88 lanes. Built-in accelerators include Intel AMX, QAT, DLB, DSA and IAA.
