Description

This Cisco UCS M8 memory kit is a matched pair of two 32GB DDR5-6400 registered DIMMs, giving 64GB in total. It is designed for Cisco UCS M8 servers built on Intel Xeon 6 processors, and suits memory upgrades or expansion in virtualisation, database, AI, analytics and general data-centre workloads.

Each module is a 32GB 1Rx4 RDIMM using 16Gb DRAM and running at 1.1 V. On Intel Xeon 6 CPUs the memory runs at up to 6400 MT/s with one DIMM per channel, dropping to up to 5200 MT/s when two DIMMs per channel are populated. For the 32GB 1Rx4 option, the allowed DIMM count is 8 per server with one CPU and 16 with two CPUs.

The modules are powered from the host server and need no separate supply. All DIMMs in a system must be the same DDR5 RDIMM type, every CPU socket should be populated identically, and slot 1 of each channel is filled first. Check the specific server specification sheet for supported DIMM counts.
