Description

The UCS 6652 is a 1RU, 52-port sixth-generation Cisco UCS 6600 Series Fabric Interconnect built for unified LAN and SAN access. It connects Cisco UCS X-Series and B-Series chassis and C-Series rack servers into a single, highly available management domain under Cisco UCS Manager or Cisco Intersight, and suits environments moving from 10/25G to end-to-end 25/50G Ethernet with 64G Fibre Channel.

This SKU is the chassis only (52 ports, 1RU, no PSU). It delivers 8.44 Tbps of throughput with a 4-core CPU and 32 GB of system memory. Ports 49 to 52 run 40/100/400GbE, while up to 16 unified ports (17 to 32) support 16/32/64G Fibre Channel. Up to 48 ports run 50GbE, and breakout provides up to 64 ports at 10/25G. Typical power draw is 368W with a maximum of 1100W, and it takes up to two UCS-PSU-6600-AC 1400W hot-swappable power supplies and five UCS-FAN-6652 fan modules. A perpetual software licence is auto-included via UCS-FI-6652-SW and activates all ports and features.

It works with the UCS X9508 and UCS 5108 chassis, UCSX-9108-25G and IOM-2408 modules, and UCS VIC 1400, 14000 and 15000 series adapters. Supported servers are UCS B-Series and X-Series M5 and newer, and C-Series M6 and newer. UCS 5108 chassis support requires UCS release 6.0(2) or later.
