Description

The Cisco ISR 4451-X Voice and Security Bundle is a modular branch router from the ISR 4000 series, built for offices that need secure voice, VPN and routing on a single platform. It pairs the 4451-X base platform with a PVDM4-64 packet voice DSP module and the Unified Communications (UC) and Security (SEC) technology licences.

The router provides 4 onboard Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports, 3 NIM slots and 2 SM slots for adding WAN, LAN, voice or compute modules. It ships with 8 GB of flash, 2 GB of data-plane DRAM and 4 GB of control-plane DRAM, and a 450W AC power supply with a second slot for a redundant unit.

The bundle runs the universalk9 IOS XE image with payload cryptography. The UC licence enables voice features such as SRST and CUBE, while the SEC licence enables security features including IPsec VPN. It accepts ISR 4400 NIMs and SMs, along with the ISR 4400 DRAM and flash spares.
