Description

The ISR 4351 is a modular, 2RU branch-office services router from the Cisco ISR 4000 family. This voice bundle pairs the chassis with a PVDM4-64 DSP module and UC licensing, making it suited to remote sites that need a WAN edge router and an integrated voice platform in one box. Typical roles include SIP trunking, analogue and digital voice gateway, SRST survivability, CUBE session border control and CME call control.

The router provides 3 onboard 10/100/1000 WAN or LAN ports, with 3 RJ-45 and 3 SFP-based connections. Aggregate throughput is 200 Mbps by default and 400 Mbps with the Performance licence. Expansion comes from 3 NIM slots, 2 SM-X service module slots (or 1 doublewide) and an onboard ISC slot that accepts PVDM4 DSP modules. Memory ships at 4 GB DRAM and 4 GB flash, expandable to 16 GB of each. It runs from an internal AC supply (100 to 240 VAC), with typical draw of 65 W and a maximum of 430 W.

The ISR 4351 uses a single universal IOS XE image with performance-on-demand licensing, and supports Cisco DNA software subscriptions. Modules support online insertion and removal.
