Description

The ISR 4351 is a 2RU modular branch-office router from the Cisco ISR 4000 Series. This DNA Subscription Bundle SKU is built for branch WAN edge routing, Catalyst SD-WAN deployments and converged branch sites that need integrated services with room to expand LAN, WAN and voice modules.

It provides three onboard 10/100/1000 WAN/LAN ports, with three RJ-45-based and three SFP-based port options, and one onboard ISC slot. Expansion comes from three NIM slots, two enhanced SM-X service-module slots and one doublewide SM-X slot, with online insertion and removal for I/O modules. Default aggregate throughput is 200 Mbps, rising to 400 Mbps with the Performance licence and over 2 Gbps CEF-only with the Boost licence. Memory is 4 GB DRAM and 4 GB flash by default, expandable to 16 GB of each. Console access is provided by USB mini-B and RJ-45 serial ports, plus an RJ-45 auxiliary port and two USB 2.0 Type-A ports.

This is the DNA bundle SKU, supplied for use with a Cisco DNA Software Subscription for SD-WAN and Routing. Subscription tiers are Essentials or Advantage, with bandwidth tiers T0 to T3. Encrypted throughput above 250 Mbps requires an HSEC licence. The chassis supports internal AC, DC or PoE power supply options and is managed through Cisco Catalyst Center and Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN.
