Description

The Cisco ISR 4331 is a modular branch-office integrated services router from the Cisco 4000 Series ISR range. The -V/K9 SKU is the voice and Unified Communications bundle, making it a fit for small and medium branch offices that need a WAN router, voice gateway and Cisco Unified Border Element in one 1RU chassis, with Catalyst SD-WAN capability and optional LTE backup.

Onboard connectivity is three 10/100/1000 WAN/LAN ports, made up of two RJ-45 ports and two SFP ports, with one RJ-45/SFP combo. Expansion comes from two NIM slots and one enhanced service-module slot, all supporting online insertion and removal. This bundle adds a PVDM4-32 DSP module, the UC technology package and CUBE-10. Aggregate throughput is 100 Mbps by default and can be raised to 300 Mbps with the Performance licence.

The router ships with 4 GB DRAM and 4 GB flash as standard, expandable to 16 GB of each, and runs Cisco IOS XE. Power comes from an internal AC supply rated 100 to 240 VAC, with a PoE-capable option available. It supports NIM modules including LTE NIMs, PVDM4 DSP modules, the onboard ISC slot and SFP modules in the two SFP ports.
