Description

The ISR 4331 is an integrated services router from the Cisco 4000 Series ISR family, built for branch-office WAN edge and secure Internet or VPN connectivity at small to mid-sized sites. It runs Cisco IOS XE and is modular, so voice, LTE backup, switching and compute can be added as the site grows.

This ISR4331-SEC/K9 bundle pairs the ISR 4331 platform with the Security (SEC) technology package licence. It provides three onboard Gigabit Ethernet WAN ports (one GE/SFP combo, one GE and one SFP), two NIM slots and one single-wide SM-X slot. Throughput is 100 Mbps by default and can be raised to 300 Mbps with the Performance licence. It ships with 4 GB DRAM and 4 GB flash by default, both upgradeable to 16 GB, in a 1 RU chassis with an internal AC power supply.

The module slots accept Cisco NIMs including 4G LTE and LTE Advanced modules, SM-X modules, PVDM4 voice DSP modules and UCS E-Series server modules. The security licence enables features such as IPsec VPN, zone-based firewall and IPS.

A: ISR4331-SEC/K9 includes the Security (SEC) technology package licence. Throughput is 100 Mbps by default and can be upgraded to 300 Mbps with the Performance licence, FL-4330-PERF-K9.

Q: What power supply does it use?
A: It has an internal AC power supply, PWR-4330-AC. A PoE-capable AC supply, PWR-4330-POE-AC, is available as an option for PoE switching modules. No redundant power supply is available.

A: Yes. The NIM slots accept Cisco 4G LTE and LTE Advanced modules such as NIM-4G-LTE-GA and NIM-LTEA-EA/LA.
