Description

The ISR 4321 AXV bundle is a branch-office router from the Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISR 4300) family. It suits small to midsize branch offices that need secure WAN connectivity, SD-WAN, application services and integrated voice such as SIP trunking, IP PBX and session border control, all from one 1RU platform.

The AXV bundle pairs the ISR 4321 platform with the AppX (APP), Security (SEC) and Unified Communications (UC) technology-package licences. Onboard you get 2 x 10/100/1000 RJ-45 ports plus 1 SFP-based port, 2 NIM slots and 1 onboard ISC slot. Default aggregate throughput is 50 Mbps, with 100 Mbps available through the Performance licence and 1.5 Gbps CEF-only through the Boost licence. It ships with 4 GB DRAM and 4 GB flash, upgradeable to 8 GB of each. Power is an external AC supply, 100 to 240 VAC, with typical draw of 36 W and a 125 W maximum.

Cellular (LTE) connectivity is added through optional NIM modules, and an optional PoE AC power supply (PWR-4320-POE-AC) provides up to 120 W of endpoint PoE.

Q: Which licences does the AXV bundle include?
A: The AXV bundle includes the AppX (APP), Security (SEC) and Unified Communications (UC) technology-package licences on the ISR 4321 platform. Performance and Boost throughput licences are separate upgrades.

Q: What is the default throughput and how can it be increased?
A: Default aggregate throughput is 50 Mbps. The Performance licence raises it to 100 Mbps, and the Boost licence provides 1.5 Gbps CEF-only throughput.

Q: Can this router supply PoE to connected devices?
A: Yes, with the optional PoE AC power supply (PWR-4320-POE-AC), which provides up to 120 W of endpoint PoE. The standard external AC supply does not provide PoE.
