Description

The Cisco ISR 1100 Series ISR1100-4G is a compact SD-WAN branch router built for remote sites that need secure data, voice and video services over broadband. It runs Cisco SD-WAN and is managed through Cisco vManage with zero-touch provisioning, so it suits distributed networks that are administered centrally.

This model provides four 10/100/1000 RJ45 WAN/LAN ports, with no SFP ports and no integrated LTE. It has 4 GB of fixed DDR4 ECC DRAM, 8 GB eMMC bulk flash, one USB 3.0 Type-A port and an RJ45 console port. SD-WAN IPsec throughput is 477 Mbps at 1400 byte packets and 411 Mbps with IMIX traffic, with support for up to 250 SD-WAN overlay tunnels. Power comes from an external 30 W AC adapter with universal 100 to 240 VAC input, and the unit measures 259 x 178 x 28 mm.

The router operates as a Cisco SD-WAN edge on Viptela OS 19.2 and above, or IOS XE SD-WAN 17.4.1 and above in controller mode. Enterprise Firewall with Application Awareness and DNS Web Layer Security are supported, along with UEFI secure boot and Cisco anticounterfeit technology.
