Description

The Cisco CW9179F is a quad-radio, tri-band Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) access point from the Cisco Wireless CW917x range. It is built for large public venues and challenging high-density environments, and it is a convertible indoor/outdoor model, so one access point type can cover both kinds of space.

The radios operate across the 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz bands with 4x4:4 MU-MIMO. Two 10G Multigigabit Ethernet uplink ports provide power and link redundancy. Antenna patterns are software-configurable (boresight, wide, and front and back), and external antenna support is available for targeted coverage. With the environment pack fitted, outdoor deployments can use the 6 GHz band.

It can be managed in the cloud through the Meraki Dashboard or on-premises with Catalyst 9800 Series wireless controllers, and requires a Cisco Networking Subscription licence (Essentials or Advantage). This is the Global regional variant.

Enquire with XS Network Tech for new or used pricing and availability.
