Description

The Cisco ISR 3945 voice bundle is a Cisco 3900 Series Integrated Services Router G2 built on the SPE150 services performance engine. It suits medium to large branch offices that need an integrated voice gateway, WAN routing, VPN and security services in a single chassis.

This bundle includes a PVDM3-64 DSP module and a Unified Communications licence PAK on an IP Base image. It provides 3 onboard 10/100/1000 ports, 2 of which are SFP-capable, along with 4 EHWIC slots, 4 onboard DSP slots, 4 service-module slots (one supports double-wide) and 1 ISM slot. Default memory is 1 GB DDR2 ECC DRAM, expandable to 2 GB, with 256 MB CompactFlash expandable to 4 GB. It supports up to 350 CUCM Express sessions and up to 1200 SRST sessions. Embedded hardware crypto acceleration handles IPsec and SSL.

The chassis takes EHWIC, HWIC, WIC, VIC and VWIC interface cards, SM and SM-D service modules, and PVDM3 DSP modules. SFP optics can be fitted to two of the three onboard Gigabit ports.
