Description

The ISR 3925 is a modular branch-office router from the Cisco 3900 Series Integrated Services Routers, built for secure WAN routing and VPN termination at remote sites.

This HSEC+ bundle pairs the 3925 chassis with IP Base software, the HSEC security licence and the ISM VPN hardware encryption module. The ISM module is what separates it from the CISCO3925-HSEC/K9 bundle, which does not include a VPN ISM. The chassis provides 3 onboard 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet ports for WAN and LAN connectivity.

The 3925 platform is a modular chassis with dual power supply slots and service module slots, so it can be expanded to suit the branch. It suits sites that need hardware-assisted encryption for site-to-site VPN traffic.
