Description

The Cisco 2911 is a modular second-generation Integrated Services Router from the Cisco 2900 Series (ISR G2). It suits branch-office deployments that need WAN routing with room to add voice, security and service module capability over time.

This SKU provides three onboard Gigabit Ethernet ports, four EHWIC slots, two onboard DSP slots (PVDM) and one Service Module slot. It is configured with 256 MB of Compact Flash and 512 MB of DRAM by default, and runs the IP Base IOS feature set.

Security, Unified Communications and Data feature sets are sold separately as licence upgrades, so the router can grow with the site. The 2911 supports most existing Cisco ISR EHWIC, SM and PVDM modules.
