Description

The Catalyst 9124AXI is a ruggedised outdoor Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point from the Catalyst 9124AX Series, built for service provider and enterprise outdoor deployments. It suits high-density public venues, campuses and wireless backhaul, serving mobile clients such as smartphones, tablets and laptops as well as IoT devices.

This SKU is the ROW (Rest of World) regulatory domain model with integrated omnidirectional antennas. It runs 4x4:4 MU-MIMO with four spatial streams on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, with 7 dBi peak gain on each band and PHY data rates up to 5.38 Gbps at 160 MHz. Connectivity includes a 100/1000/2500 BASE-T multigigabit uplink and a Gigabit Ethernet SFP port, plus an integrated Bluetooth 5 radio. The IP66/IP67 enclosure operates from -40 to 65 C without solar loading.

It operates with Cisco DNA Software for Wireless subscription licensing and is managed by Cisco Catalyst 9800 Series Wireless Controllers. It requires Cisco IOS XE 17.6.2 or later for all regulatory domains, and is powered by 802.3af/at/bt PoE, Cisco UPOE or a 24 to 56 V DC input.
