Description

The Cisco 3945 ES24 UCS-E bundle is an Integrated Services Router from the Cisco 3900 Series (ISR G2), packaged for Cisco UCS Express. It suits branch-office deployments that combine routing, PoE switching and an on-router virtualised server in one chassis.

The bundle includes a 24-port Layer 3 PoE EtherSwitch service module (ES24) with a PoE power supply, so wired phones, access points and cameras can be powered directly from the router. It is supplied with 4 GB of ISR DRAM and 768 MB of compact flash, and supports an SRE 900 or SRE 910 server module with the SRE-V licence and IMC Express for managing the integrated server.

It requires Cisco IOS Software Release 15.1(4)M or later for the MGF backplane switch and IMC Express.
