Description

The ISR 3925 is a second-generation Cisco Integrated Services Router. This bundle is aimed at branch offices that want routing, security and WAN optimisation consolidated in a single chassis, with room to host additional branch applications on a service module.

The bundle pairs the router with an SRE 900 or SRE 910 service module, a Security (Sec PAK) licence and a Cisco WAAS Enterprise Large licence. The SRE 900/910 uses an Intel Core2 Duo 1.86 GHz processor with 4 GB of DRAM as standard, expandable to 8 GB, and two 500 GB SATA hot-swappable drives that support RAID 0 or 1. It connects to the router backplane over Gigabit Ethernet and draws 50 W at maximum. The 3925 chassis accepts up to two SRE 700/710/900/910 service modules plus one SRE 300 ISM.

SRE 900/910 modules are supported on the Cisco 2911, 2921, 2951, 3925, 3925E, 3945 and 3945E ISRs. Supported applications include Cisco WAAS, UCS Express, AXP, WLC, Unity Express and Video Surveillance.
