Description

This Cisco ISR 3925 router bundle is built on the UCS Express platform and is designed for branch offices that need routing and server workloads in a single chassis. It pairs the Cisco 3925 Integrated Services Router (ISR G2) with a Services-Ready Engine x86 blade, either an SRE 900 or an SRE 910, so essential infrastructure services and business applications can be hosted at a lean remote site.

The bundle is configured with the SRE-V licence, 4 GB of ISR DRAM and 768 MB of Compact Flash, and is managed through Cisco IMC Express. It does not include an EtherSwitch module. Server virtualisation is delivered by VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi) running on the SRE blade, and the Cisco MGF backplane switch links the blade to the router.

The MGF backplane switch and IMC Express require Cisco IOS Release 15.1(4)M as a minimum. The 3925 platform needs at least 2 GB of DRAM and 512 or 256 MB of Compact Flash. Guest operating system and application licences are purchased separately.
