Description

The ISR 2951 is a Cisco ISR G2 branch router, supplied in this bundle with a Services-Ready Engine 910 service module, a 32-channel PVDM3 voice DSP module and the Unified Communications and Security licence PAKs. It suits branch offices and small enterprise sites that need an integrated router with voice gateway, security and on-router application services in one platform.

The 2951 chassis provides 3 onboard 10/100/1000 Ethernet WAN ports, with one port able to use SFP in place of RJ-45, plus 4 EHWIC slots, 3 DSP slots and 1 ISM slot. The base platform ships with 512 MB DRAM and 256 MB Compact Flash by default. The SRE 910 adds a 1.86 GHz Intel Core2 Duo service module with 4 GB DRAM as standard and a 2 GB internal USB flash module, while the PVDM3-32 supplies voice DSP resources. The UC and SEC licence PAKs enable Unified Communications and IOS security features on the Universal IOS image.

The 2951 accepts up to two SRE 700, 710, 900 or 910 service modules and one SRE 300 ISM, and supports EHWIC, SM and double-wide SM-D module families. An external Redundant Power Supply can be fitted for power redundancy or PoE boost.
