Description

The Cisco 2951 Voice and Security Bundle is a pre-configured Integrated Services Router package from the Cisco 2900 Series ISR G2 range. It is built for branch-office and small-to-medium enterprise sites that need secure WAN routing together with voice services such as SRST and CCME call survivability, DSP-based voice and video, and CUBE session border functions.

The 2951 chassis provides 3 onboard 10/100/1000 WAN ports, one of which is SFP-based and shares with an RJ-45 port. Expansion comes from 4 EHWIC slots (2 double-wide), 2 Service Module slots (1 double-wide), 1 ISM slot and 3 onboard PVDM slots. This SKU includes a PVDM3-32 DSP module, the Cisco IOS Unified Communications (UC) and Security (SEC) licence PAKs, and a CUBE 5 licence. Embedded hardware crypto acceleration supports IPsec VPN with the Security licence. It ships with 512 MB DRAM and 256 MB Compact Flash, expandable to 2 GB and 4 GB, and is a 2RU unit with 100 to 240 VAC auto-ranging input.

It accepts EHWIC, HWIC, WIC, VIC and VWIC interface cards, single and double-wide Service Modules, and PVDM3 DSP modules, with PVDM2 supported through an adapter. It also works with the external Cisco RPS 2300.
