Description

The Cisco ISR 2951 UCS Express bundle is built on the Cisco 2900 Series Integrated Services Router G2 platform. It pairs the router with a Services Ready Engine (SRE 900 or SRE 910) service module and the SRE-V hypervisor licence, so branch offices can run virtualised application and server workloads alongside routing, voice and security on one integrated platform.

This bundle ships in a 2951, SRE 900/910, SRE-V configuration with 4 GB ISR DRAM and 768 MB ISR Compact Flash, with IMC Express software included. It provides three onboard 10/100/1000 WAN ports, one of which can be used as an SFP, along with four EHWIC slots (two double-wide), two service module slots (one double-wide), three onboard DSP (PVDM) slots and one ISM slot. Embedded hardware-based cryptography and acceleration is built in, and concurrent services WAN performance is up to 75 Mbps. Cisco Unified SRST supports up to 250 sessions and Unified CCME up to 150 sessions. This SKU does not include the ES24 switch module or WAAS.

It works with Cisco 2900 ISR modules including EHWIC, PVDM, ISM and service modules, and the optional Cisco RPS 2300 for power redundancy or PoE boost. UCS Express on the 2951 requires at least 1.5 GB ISR DRAM and 512 MB or 256 MB Compact Flash, both met by this bundle.
