Description

This bundle is built on the Cisco 2921 Integrated Services Router from the 2900 Series ISR G2 range. It suits branch offices that need WAN routing, secure connectivity, voice gateway and survivability, plus locally hosted applications such as Unity Express, WAAS or a wireless LAN controller, all on a single platform.

The bundle combines the 2921 chassis with an SRE 700 or SRE 710 service module (SM-SRE-700-K9 or SM-SRE-710-K9), a PVDM3-32 voice DSP module and the UC and SEC licence PAKs. The SRE module has an Intel Core2 Solo 1.86 GHz CPU, 4 GB DRAM, a 2 GB internal USB flash module and one 500 GB SATA hard disk, with one RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet port and one USB port on the module. It connects to the router backplane over an internal Gigabit Ethernet link and draws a maximum of 35 W.

The UC and SEC licence PAKs enable the Unified Communications and Security feature sets in Cisco IOS on the router. The SRE 700 and 710 modules require Cisco IOS Release 15.1(4)M or later, and the 2921 can hold one SRE 700, 710, 900 or 910 module.
