Description

The Cisco ISR 2901 voice bundle is a Generation 2 Integrated Services Router built for small branch and remote-office voice deployments. It provides local call control through Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (CME) or call survivability through Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) for up to 25 phones, alongside standard WAN routing.

This SKU is defined by its voice bundle contents: a PVDM3-16 16-channel DSP module, the FL-CME-SRST-25 right-to-use licence covering 25 seats of CME or SRST, and the Unified Communications technology licence PAK. The base platform is a Cisco 2901 with 2 x GE ports, 4 x EHWIC slots, 2 x DSP slots, 256MB CF and 512MB DRAM, running the universalk9 IOS image. Seats beyond 25 need additional licences.

It works with existing ISR EHWIC and HWIC interface modules and PVDM3 DSP modules. DRAM can be expanded using the shared 2921/2911/2901 part numbers (512 MB, 1 GB or 2 GB) in the remaining slot.
