Description

The Cisco ISR 1941 is a modular branch-office router from the Cisco 1900 Series ISR G2 range, built for sites that need secure WAN routing with IPsec VPN and the ability to host branch applications on the router itself. This bundle pairs the 1941 with a Cisco SRE 300 Services-Ready Engine module and a SEC licence PAK.

The router provides two onboard 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet WAN ports (RJ-45), two EHWIC slots (one double-wide EHWIC supported) and one ISM slot, which the SRE 300 occupies. It ships with 512 MB DRAM (expandable to 2 GB) and 256 MB CompactFlash (expandable to 4 GB), with two USB Type A ports plus USB, RJ-45 serial console and auxiliary ports. Embedded hardware IPsec crypto acceleration is built in, and concurrent services performance reaches up to 25 Mbps. The SRE 300 adds a 1.06 GHz Intel CPU, 512 MB DRAM and 4 GB USB flash on a dedicated x86 module, independent of router resources.

The SEC licence PAK activates the Security technology package on the IOS Universal image. The 1941 is a 2 RU unit supporting rack or wall mounting and takes standard ISR G2 EHWIC interface cards.
