Description

The ISR 1941 is a modular second-generation Integrated Services Router from the Cisco 1900 Series, built for branch-office and small remote-site routing. It combines WAN connectivity with integrated security, including VPN, firewall and IPS capabilities, and can take 3G/4G LTE, T1/E1 and xDSL interface modules.

The chassis provides two onboard 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet WAN ports, two EHWIC slots (one double-wide EHWIC is supported) and one ISM slot. It ships with 512 MB of DDR2 ECC DRAM, expandable to 2 GB, and 256 MB of external Compact Flash, expandable to 4 GB per slot. Embedded hardware IPsec acceleration handles VPN encryption, and performance is rated up to 25 Mbps concurrent services WAN throughput. This C1941-AX/K9 SKU is the IPBase+SEC+APP bundle, pairing the IP Base package with the Security and AppX technology licences. Security adds IOS Firewall, Zone-Based Firewall, IPS, GETVPN, DMVPN and Easy VPN. AppX adds Application Visibility and Control and WAAS Express.

It accepts EHWIC, HWIC, WIC, VIC and VWIC modules, EtherSwitch HWIC modules, 3G/4G LTE WWAN modules and SRE modules in the ISM slot. It is a 2 RU unit with a 100-240 V AC power supply and no redundant power supply support.
