Description

The Cisco ASR 1004 is a modular edge router from the ASR 1000 Series Aggregation Services Routers family, built for service provider and large enterprise WAN edge, aggregation and VPN termination roles.

This ASR1004-10G-SEC/K9 bundle is based on the 10G Embedded Services Processor (ESP10) and includes the IPsec and Security K9 feature set, so the same chassis can handle high-throughput forwarding together with encrypted site-to-site and remote access VPN services.
