Description

The ASR 907 is a seven-rack-unit, fully modular aggregation router chassis from the Cisco ASR 900 Series. It is built for service provider aggregation and remote Point-of-Presence deployments, including mobile backhaul and L2VPN and L3VPN service delivery.

The chassis provides two Route Switch Processor slots for in-box redundancy, sixteen single-width interface module slots (slots 0-15) and a single fan tray position. It supports up to three hot-swappable 1200 W power supplies in AC or DC. This SKU is the chassis only, so the RSP, power supplies and fan tray are selected separately to suit the deployment. With the RSP3C-400-W in oversubscribed mode, example I/O configurations include 16x10G plus 2x100G plus 80x1G, or 48x10G. It is rated for operation from -40 C to 65 C when fitted with industrial temperature optics.

Compatible components include the A900-RSP3C-400-W route switch processor, the A907-FAN-E enhanced fan tray, the A900-PWR1200-D DC power supply and interface modules such as the A900-IMA48D-C and A900-IMA48T-C CEM modules. An optional A900-CM-GNSS module is available for timing.
