Description

The Cisco ASR 907 is a modular chassis from the ASR 900 Series Aggregation Services Router family, built for service provider and enterprise aggregation roles where flexible interface options matter. This bundle pairs the ASR 907 chassis with two interface module adapters.

The ASR 907 is a fully modular platform. It accepts Route Switch Processors and a range of Ethernet and TDM interface modules, so the port mix can be matched to the site. An optional redundant pair of Route Switch Processors can be fitted, with one active and one hot standby, to provide intrachassis hardware redundancy and software redundancy with ISSU.

The Route Switch Processor 3C is listed for the ASR 907 and supports multiple Ethernet and TDM/SONET/SDH interface modules, which makes the chassis a practical base for mixed packet and legacy circuit aggregation.
