Description

The Cisco 8010 series 8011-4G24Y4H-I is a 1RU fixed, industrial-temperature router built for service-provider cell-site routing, access and aggregation. It suits mobile backhaul deployments, including IP65/IP66 outdoor cabinets with a heat exchanger, where extended temperatures and precise timing matter. It runs Cisco IOS XR and can also operate as a satellite port extender for ASR 9000 5th-generation systems.

Front-panel connectivity is 4x 40/100G QSFP28 ports, 24x 1/10/25G SFP28 ports and 4x 10/100/1000M RJ-45 copper ports. The 100G ports can also run as 4x25G or 4x10G. Forwarding performance reaches up to 480 Mpps, backed by a 4-core 2.2GHz CPU, 16GB DRAM and 38GB eMMC. The I-Temp rating covers -40 to +65 C operation, and airflow is front to back through five fixed redundant fans.

Power comes from modular redundant AC or DC power modules, with Cisco modelling consumption at about 150 W. Cisco IOS XR software licensing applies under the Flexible Consumption Model 2.0. It works with 1/10/25G SFP, SFP+ and SFP28 optics and 40/100G QSFP+ and QSFP28 optics, and supports the 8000-TIC and 8000-TIC-GNSS timing cards.
